Summer 2020 to do list

Despite the fact that we all are forced to stay at home during the summer 2020 because of the quarantine we still can make this summer productive and have fun. The most important thing is not where you spend the summer but who you spend it with. If you have your friends and family as your company - you're so lucky and you should be thankful for it:) Even if you're feeling a bit lonely - don't worry. Stay positive, take care of yourself and use this time to become a better person.
I hope you'll find this to do list helpful and hopefully it will inspire you to do something memorable AND fun.
1. Outdoor movie night.

I think it is very romantic. You can do it either with your friends/family or by yourself. Just grab a laptop, some snacks, go to your backyard, turn on a movie and enjoy the atmosphere.

2. Watch the sunset.

This one is so easy and you can literally do it today. Im serious. Wait till it's evening and go watch the sunset. Sunsets are my favorite thing in the whole world. In summer they are especially beautiful. I highly recommend  going without your phone. Stay in the moment and enjoy it.

3. Spend a day without ANY devises.

Yep. No iPhones, no laptops, no iPads. Nothing. Try to focus on the moment and let go all the thoughts.

4. Read 3 books.
This is my personal goal for the summer 2020. Reading is something I've always been puting off, but  not this summer! I have almost finished the first book, and I have 2 more to go! That's why I encourage you to do the same thing:) If you manage to find the book that's interesting for you, trust me, you won't be able to stop reading. BTW I will soon share my books recomendations on this blog.

5. Wake up at 5 a.m and listen to the singing of birds.

6. Bake a cherry pie.

7.Finger painting. (Cuz' why not?)

8.Paint rocks.

9.DIY you old clothes.(I will son make a post about this)

10.Throw a party on Zoom.

Even though we can't really throw real parties now, we can do it on ZOOM! Cool thing is that you don't have to do all the cleaning afterwards.

I hope this little bucket list will inspire you to do something fun this summer:)

Life without social media

Today I want to talk about a very important topic - how social media influences our life and daily routines. No doubt, Instagram , Twitter , Facebook (yep, many people including me still use it ) , Youtube and many more platforms have become a significant part of our lifestyle. I'm pretty sure that 90% of people start their day by going on Instagram and checking their Mail. On the one hand I'm so grateful that we have social media. Mainly, because with its help we can communicate with our loved once. We can have conversations and video chats on Zoom or Skype and it's so important during this not easy times. But on the other hand, it's really scary to see people on their devices all the time. I mean it's some sort of addiction. Everytime we start to feel bored or have nothing to do we grab our phone and literally wasting our lives watching videos or pictures of other people having fun and living their best lives. It's crazy to me. I, myself, was really addicted t...

Why self-care is important + self-care checklist

Sometimes we all feel stressed, tired and overwhelmed. In such phases of our lives we forget to be grateful for the things that we have, start focusing on negative emotions and , therefore, surround ourselves with negative enerergy. When we feel this way it is important to give our body and brain some rest and start doing something that makes us happy. I personaly love doing self-care days (or even weeks) when I dedicate  time to my hobbies and well-being. Self-care days help me to remember to be thankful for what I have and don't take things for granted. On such days it is also important to stay off social media and focus on the moment.  My personal hobby is cooking. When I cook I forget about any problems and I don't even notice how the time passes. So on my self-care days I like to cook. The other thing I like to do is morning runs and simple workouts. I'm not a morning workout type of person, but stretches is the only thing my body is able to do in the morning. Journali...

How to make the most out of your mornings

A good start of the morning is the key to a productive and happy day. In this post I'm going to share with you my morning routine and some tips that help me to feel energetic and motivated throughout the day.  1. An hour without a phone I've already talked about this in my previous post. I've been learning to start my day without Instagram, Twitter and other social platforms. It really helps  to keep my mind clear for the first hour after waking up and I just feel more calm and present by doing this. It is a very simple habit but I really encourage you to try it. 2. Stretches After making my bed, brushing my theeth and washing my face I'm trying to convince myself to do a little work out. Unfortunately, I've never been in good relationships with sport and working out is the last thing I want to do in the morning:D But I figured that it is so much easier to do a 5 min morning stretches. I'm just doing torso twists, shoulder stretch, bending forward etc. It really...
