Summer 2020 to do list

Despite the fact that we all are forced to stay at home during the summer 2020 because of the quarantine we still can make this summer productive and have fun. The most important thing is not where you spend the summer but who you spend it with. If you have your friends and family as your company - you're so lucky and you should be thankful for it:) Even if you're feeling a bit lonely - don't worry. Stay positive, take care of yourself and use this time to become a better person.
I hope you'll find this to do list helpful and hopefully it will inspire you to do something memorable AND fun.
1. Outdoor movie night.

I think it is very romantic. You can do it either with your friends/family or by yourself. Just grab a laptop, some snacks, go to your backyard, turn on a movie and enjoy the atmosphere.

2. Watch the sunset.

This one is so easy and you can literally do it today. Im serious. Wait till it's evening and go watch the sunset. Sunsets are my favorite thing in the whole world. In summer they are especially beautiful. I highly recommend  going without your phone. Stay in the moment and enjoy it.

3. Spend a day without ANY devises.

Yep. No iPhones, no laptops, no iPads. Nothing. Try to focus on the moment and let go all the thoughts.

4. Read 3 books.
This is my personal goal for the summer 2020. Reading is something I've always been puting off, but  not this summer! I have almost finished the first book, and I have 2 more to go! That's why I encourage you to do the same thing:) If you manage to find the book that's interesting for you, trust me, you won't be able to stop reading. BTW I will soon share my books recomendations on this blog.

5. Wake up at 5 a.m and listen to the singing of birds.

6. Bake a cherry pie.

7.Finger painting. (Cuz' why not?)

8.Paint rocks.

9.DIY you old clothes.(I will son make a post about this)

10.Throw a party on Zoom.

Even though we can't really throw real parties now, we can do it on ZOOM! Cool thing is that you don't have to do all the cleaning afterwards.

I hope this little bucket list will inspire you to do something fun this summer:)

Thrift shopping: yes or no?

Today I'd like to talk about my passion, something that helps me forget about my problems and something that makes me loose track of time - shopping. Just like most girls I love shopping very much. Before quarantine my mom and I used shopping as some kind of therapy. We were the best shopping buddies and went to the malls almost every weekends. Going to the secondhand stores was also a part of our shopping journey. Certainly, everyone likes stylish and good quality clothing. But the problem is that the clothes of popular brands may cost a good deal of money. Now, I personally not a big fan of spending large amounts of money on designer clothes. I mean, I love expensive brands like Louis Vuitton, Chanel, Prada and others, but I personally wouldn't spend millions of dollars to fill my wardrobe with designer dresses, bags and shoes. I believe that it is amazing to be able to afford the clothes of such brands but it's important not to go too far with it. I can say that I'm ...

How to make the most out of your mornings

A good start of the morning is the key to a productive and happy day. In this post I'm going to share with you my morning routine and some tips that help me to feel energetic and motivated throughout the day.  1. An hour without a phone I've already talked about this in my previous post. I've been learning to start my day without Instagram, Twitter and other social platforms. It really helps  to keep my mind clear for the first hour after waking up and I just feel more calm and present by doing this. It is a very simple habit but I really encourage you to try it. 2. Stretches After making my bed, brushing my theeth and washing my face I'm trying to convince myself to do a little work out. Unfortunately, I've never been in good relationships with sport and working out is the last thing I want to do in the morning:D But I figured that it is so much easier to do a 5 min morning stretches. I'm just doing torso twists, shoulder stretch, bending forward etc. It really...

Survive the heat and stay stylish in summer

Most people don't really care about being fashionable in summer. And it's understandable because when it is 90 degrees outside all you want is to stay in the place with a good air conditioning wearing nothing but a swimsuit. However we still have to leave our houses, go to work and do things outside. That's why it is very important to choose appropariate clothes.  Firstly, when it is very hot outside I recommend wearing clothes made from natural fabrics like linen and cotton. They will let your skin breath and you will feel comfortable. Besides, natural fabrics absorb the moisture nicely and they feel very good on the skin. Second rule is to wear loose clothes. For instance, loose dresses are very popular this summer. I really like this trend because there is a huge variety of loose dresses of different length, design and shape. Victorian sleeve dresses are my personal favourites. Good thing is that you will feel free and comfortable in loose clothes and it is even better i...
